Welcome To The Nigerian Veterinary Journal
The Nigerian Veterinary Journal was established in 1971 with the aim of promoting scientific and intellectual discourse amongst members of the profession. The Journal was earlier known as ‘Journal of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (JNVMA) and the current name is the ‘Nigerian Veterinary Journal (NVJ). The journal promotes animal health and welfare as well as economics of animal production. It serves as a medium through which the profession is linked and interconnected with other professionals and vocations with similar objectives. It has contributed significantly to the development in the animal industry over the years and this is evident in numerous citations, wide circulation, continuous subscriptions and usage of the Journal.
